Old Ramp
From spring 1942 to May 1944, special Deutsche Reichsbahn trains carrying Jews from all over Europe arrived at the Auschwitz freight depot. The Jews in the transports were unloaded and selected right next to the rail track, at the "Old Ramp," or "Jews' Ramp."
